In this session I would like to present a method of creation QR codes from within Oracle database using PL/SQL programming language. First, I would like to present the history of QR codes, terminology, steps of preparing and transforming the data and mathematical methods used in those steps. Second, I would like to present a PL/SQL implementation with examples. Creating QR codes from within database has been proven useful because it is not needed to have additional tools or programming languages - only pure PL/SQL.

Zoran Tica is business analyst, database designer and developer with more then 25 years of experience in Informational Technologies. He specialized himself for Oracle database, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Application Express (APEX), Java. As business analyst, database designer and developer he took a part in different IT projects in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in field of insurance, social transfers, ERP (enterprise resource planning). He is OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) for Advanced PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Java SE.
