During maintaining Oracle Forms applications we are often faced with requests related to user interface changes in a way to redesign presentation of some fields on the form, impose fields constraints, change fields positions etc. We will present some examples from Elektroprivreda BiH (Public Enterprise Electric Utility of Bosnia and Herzegovina) about storing presentation logic in the database in order to simplify maintenance process.

Jasmin Heljić, author
Jasmin Heljić was born in Gornji Vakuf (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo in 2007. He earned master’s degree in 2015 from The School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo (Strategic IT Management). He was Bosnia and Herzegovina Competitor in the 32nd International Physics Olympiad in 2001, and semi-finalist at international IT competition Imagine Cup in 2005. He has more than 10 years of experiance as a software engineer. Currently he works in Elektroprivreda BiH in department for in-house software development. He is a member of Bosnia Agile core team and a coach. Bosnia Agile is assosiation which promote agile software development.
Emina Kreštalica, coauthor
Emina Kreštalica was born in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina). She graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo in 2003. Currently she is taking postgraduate studies at Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo. She has more than 15 years of experiance as a software engineer. Currently she works in Elektroprivreda BiH in department for in-house software development. She is a member of OSCE BiH cyber security team.
