Oracle Application Express (APEX) is a low-code development platform which allows to build modern, secure, and scalable applications. With APEX 21.1 and 21.2, Oracle introduced 2 new versions this year, which contain many new and exciting features.
In this session we will demo the capabilities of the new Maps component, the improvements to Faceted Search and the REST data sources, support for Progressive Web Apps (PWA), and many more.
To close, we will give an overview of Oracle’s Roadmap for APEX in the coming years.

Stefan Dobre, author
Stefan Dobre is a member of the APEX development team at Oracle.
Besides working on the core product, he is also a proud member of the APEX community to which he contributed via several open-source projects, like the APEX Builder Extension by FOS and many of the FOS plug-ins.
His main areas of interest are extending APEX using custom JavaScript, plug-ins, and APIs. He has spoken at numerous conferences on these topics including APEX@Home, APEX Alpe Adria, APEX Connect, DOAG, UKOUG and Kscope.
