The possibilities of partitioning, especially in an Oracle system, are huge, and the temptation to do something High-Tech is always there.We’ll go over some of the cooler tricks we tried with “Partitioning” and how they helped us. We will also confess the items were it helped us make nice mistakes and how you might avoid those.Spoilers: Design, Design, Know your Data, Know your Processes, and Design…The presentation will assume the audience can read an ERD, and knows some basics about Partitioning.
