CI / CD on Oracle Content and Experience with Visual Builder Studio

Nowadays webs are not just a channel for publishing information, but a way to interact  with users through dynamic components and even web applications. On recent years  since its introduction, Oracle Content and Experience has proved to be a powerful  environment in which not only content repositories and channels can be built, but also  dynamic pages that can integrate with external services and platforms. These  integrations mean that their development lifecycle complexity increases alongside the  functionalities, validations and logic offered by them.  Therefore, web applications and components implemented in OCE should have  their own space in which development could be controlled using the latest paradigms  and technologies. One important tool for controlling development in OCE is the  content-and-experience-toolkit. With this command line tool, it is possible to  automatize OCE testing and deployment.  In this lab, by using Oracle Cloud?s Visual Builder Studio Platform, we?ll learn  how to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of applications and  components developed over OCE exploring concepts such as:  - OCE components  - OCE Themes  - OCE Templates  - cec command line tool  - VBS projects and builds
